Mumbai Dreams
  • Mumbai Dreams is the annual inter-collegiate festival hosted by the Department of BAF (Bachelor of Accounting and Finance) at RD National College. This year’s theme was “Udaan Sapno Ki: Roti, Kapda Aur Makaan'', which is a depiction of the open arms with which the city welcomes people in to build their life, one step at a time. With a footfall of more than 5000 students from across the city, the campus echoed with the loud cheers and glam.
  • Mumbai Dreams is not a festival, it is a 360 degree overall personality development of the students, to exhibit their hidden talents, with a desire to deliver excellence. The festival featured three categories of events: Cultural (Mumbai’s Got Talent, dance, fashion show, beat-boxing, rapping), Academic ( MD Stock Exchange, MD Ki Local Sawaari, JAM-(Just A Minute) ,and Sports (Volleyball, Box Cricket, Carrom).
  • Sixty-two colleges across the city participated in Mumbai Dreams, each with its unique contingent that represented some aspect of this city’s soul. Festival also worked on important areas like food distribution, beach cleaning, employemnt drive and much more.
  • As the bridge between campus and corporates gets more accessible with fests like Mumbai Dreams, it is only a matter of time before workplaces cease to be redundant and monotonous.
  • The perception around the BAF course notwithstanding, Mumbai Dreams is a living testimony that these students are more than just mere accounting majors. They are groomed as a bunch of multi-talented marketers, managers, and most importantly, emerging leaders.
Finomania
  • In order to have a platform to showcase the talent of students of BAF and to introspect the students about the knowledge they have, BAF department initiated the one day event known as "FINOMANIA". It was drafted by students and faculty of the department.Lots of business activities, games and quizzes are drafted in Finomania. This festival aims to bring the Students of BAF on one platform, network and have a knowledge sharing session.
