• Publication of Books: Two books, ‘Common Birds in Bandra’ and ‘Plant Diversity in R. D. National College’ compiled by the students under the guidance of a college teacher were released by Dr.Leon Richards, Chancellor Kapi’olani Community College, Honolulu, U.S along with Dr. Rajan Welukar, Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai and Dr. Naresh Chandra, Pro. Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai.
• Several teachers presented papers and participated in International, National, State and University level conferences held in India.
• B.Sc. students presented a paper based on their credit based project at the Regional Science Congress – 2012, Baroda and at an International Conference held at Calicut, India.
• Students have represented institution at various International, National and State level research competitions like Avishkar, In 2016-17, 1st place has been secured at Maharashtra at State level research convention “Avishkar 2016” by Department of Physics and in 2015, 1st place at District level in the Mumbai and sixth overall in Maharashtra at State level research convention “Avishkar 2015” under the guidance of Dr. Laxman Jathar.
